- Sensepoint XCD now has remote monitoring capabilities for Oxygen and Toxic sensors. Its telemetry capability is designed to offer great flexibility of use and is an ideal solution for hard-to-reach locations or areas where the transmitter needs to be kept separate the sensor. With remote oxygen and toxin sensors up to 100 feet (30m) away the transmitter, Sensepoint XCD provides a powerful monitoring solution even in challenging environments where detection is difficult, including applications where the detection point is located in an area that is not easily accessible or where the detector will not be visible, such as in high or low concealed areas or outside a room being monitored.
- Sensepoint XCD is very easy to use. The sensor simply plugs the bottom of the transmitter and the transmitter automatically configures itself. Users can modify detector operation with LCD display and magnet switch without having to open the instrument. This allows for one-man, non-intrusive operation and reduces routine maintenance time and costs. The three-color backlit LCD display clearly shows the device's status at a glance, even a distance. Steady green backlight indicates normal operation, yellow flashing indicates fault and red flashing indicates warning.
- All detectors are supplied preconfigured and include two programmable alarm relays, one programmable fault relay as well as industry standard 4-20mA output (sink or source selectable) and MODBUS communication. The scale, range, relay operation, alarm setpoint, and electronic tag number of the detector can be adjusted using the transmitter's LCD display and non-intrusive magnetic switches. Output is automatically inhibited during tuning, thus reducing the risk of false alarms at the control panel during maintenance.
