- The Fire Sentry FS24X is the latest generation Multi-Spectrum Triple IR (IR / IR / IR / Visible) high-tech fire detector that is part of our FSX line of technologically advanced electro-optical fire detectors. Using our patented WideBand IR™, WideBand 4.3 micron IR™ and visible detection technology, the Fire Sentry FS24X is a giant leap in flame detection. Sophisticated software algorithms and dual microprocessors ensure that the Fire Sentry FS24X has the highest fire detection performance combined with optimal false alarm rejection.
- WideBand IR™ infrared technology uses a high-speed solid-state quantum sensor that enables the detection of all types of fires, hydrocarbons and non-hydrocarbons, in all weather conditions. If the detector's signal is blocked by regular window glass, the patented WideBand IR sensors will still alarm the fire but at reduced sensitivity and slower response times.
- Dual microprocessors provide a high degree of fail-safe operation combined with fast and reliable performance. The Master processor performs digital sampling and high-speed signal processing computation; while the slave microprocessor processes various sensor data, performs communication, self-diagnosis and provides interface flexibility; and additional memory to store FirePic™ and Event Log data.
- The Fire Sentry FSX family of particle detectors features our patented FirePic data and information storage. FirePic™ records pre-fire data, which can be recovered the Detector's non-volatile flash memory for post-fire analysis and fire cause recording. In addition, Unique Real-Time Graphing (RTG™) allows to see the data that the Detector actually sees. A combination of outputs makes the Fire Sentry FS24X a truly versatile detector for today's demanding industrial requirements.
- Fire Sentry's FS SentX fire detector has a detection range greater than 200 feet (Very High Sensitivity setting) to detect a square foot Heptane reference fire and has a cone that provides much greater coverage with any other Multi-Spectrum IR Detector. This means fewer detectors can be used compared to detectors other manufacturers.
