General description The DAA2 Amplifier Amplifier is a multi-feature amplifier with digital audio function. Each DAA2 is capable of accessing and processing one of eight audio channels on the DVC audio loop, amplifying the signal and distributing it through four speaker outputs. The DAA2 is capable of mounting an optional redundant digital amplifier (BDA), which can be used to provide one-to-one amplifier backup or to support two-channel operation. Notifier DAA-2 Digital Audio Amplifier, Digital Audio Amplifier The DAA2 has two wired digital audio ports for connection to DAL (digital audio loop) segments. One or both ports can be converted to fi ber using optional fi ber modules. Up to 32 devices, such as DAA2 amplifiers, can be connected to DAL on a single DVC Digital Voice Command unit. DAA2 amplifiers can be mixed with DAX series amplifiers on the same DAL. The DAA2 also supports the use of the RM-1 remote microphone. The DAA2 amplifier can store backup and trouble messages and provides an adjustable background music input.

Cable connection: Provide cable connection to battery. Battery charger: Current limited lead acid battery charger charges twice 12 volt batteries in series, up to 200 AH. Rechargeability: The DAA2 cannot function as a battery charger when connected to a BDA-70 programmed as a second channel.
