A wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted visual alarm device (VAD) is a high-quality looping beacon that alerts people in an emergency. Designed and approved to meet EN54-23, the European standard for VAD, the unit produces 360° light coverage making it suitable for both wall and ceiling mounting applications. With quick and simple installation and control, they are powered by the fire control panel via loop wiring. Control enabled devices with onboard switches or through the control panel. The range is simply set up by simply fitting the B501AP base. Wall Mounted / Celing VAD The VAD is a high quality loop powered device that, when activated by a fire control panel, emits intense light to give a clear warning to building occupants.
