Description of Beam Notifier Detectors FSB-200 and FSB-200S
- The Notifer FSB-200 and FSB-200S are smart beam, addressable smoke detectors to protect open areas with high and steep ceilings, and large areas where other smoke detectors are installed each other and maintain. Ideal applications are atriums, church ceilings, hangars, warehouses, sports arenas, concert halls, and enclosed parking facilities.
- Redesigned single-ended installation is much faster than dual-ended beam detectors. Alignment is easily accomplished with an optical and two-digit signal power meter integrated the beam detector. Listed for operation “30°C to 55°C, the FSB-200 and FSB-200S are usable in open area applications where temperature extremes exceed design limits of detection types other smoke.
- FSB-200 and FSB-200S are one transmitter/receiver unit and one ector. When smoke enters the area between the unit and reacts it causes a decrease in signal strength. When the smoke level (signal strength) reaches a predetermined threshold, an alarm is triggered. The detectors have four standard sensitivity choices as well as two Acclimate® settings. When Acclimate® Settings are selected, the advanced software algorithm detector automatically optimally adjusts sensitivity for the specifc environment.
- The FSB-200S has the indispensable test performance of a flter attached to a servomotor inside the optical detector. Activate the RTS151 or RTS151KEY remote test station to move the flter the path of the beam, testing detector sensitivity. This Sensitivity Test Feature allows users to quickly and easily meet annual maintenance and inspection requirements without needing physical access to the detector. The servo motor must be powered by an external +24 VDC source.
