- The 5809SS contains a built-in fixed temperature sensor, which will sound an alarm if the ambient temperature rises above 135°F. The 5809SS also incorporates an accelerometer temperature sensor. Fire often causes a rapid rise in temperature in the surrounding area. The 5809SS's accelerated thermostat senses an increase in temperature and alerts you if the increase is 15°F or more per minute. 5809SS is UL listed (UL 521) and CSFM approved for residential and commercial applications.
- Contains an integrated transmitter that can send alarm, monitoring and battery health messages to the system receiver/controller
- Powered by a three volt lithium battery. If the battery voltage is too low, the 5809 will send a low battery signal to the control panel
- Has a tamper switch, causing a fault signal to be sent to the controller if the unit is removed the dock
- UL Listed for Commercial (when using the 5881EH Receiver) or Residential Application
