The Tyco RC-1 water bell pressurizer in installations will be subjected to pressure, as is typically associated with a public water supply, to help prevent false alarms. The RC-1 is intended exclusively for use with the Model AV-1-300 Alarm Check Valve (TFP910).

However, it can also be used the old-fashioned Chambers Retard used with the F/G Hub Model, Gem Model A or Star Model E/F Alert Check Valves. Model RC-1 Recovery Chamber is a re-designation for Gem Model F211 for use with Gem Model F20/F200/F2001 alarm check valves, as well as Star Model S310 for use with Star alarm check valves Model S30 / S300 / S3001.

The Retard Champer is designed for use with the AV-1-300 alarm valve set (TFP910), however it can also be used with older version alarm valves such as the Central Model F/G, Gem Model A or Star Model E/F.
