Eaton has a wide range of ports and adapters for the LonWorks communication network protocol, for use with Eaton addressable fire systems. LonWorks Adapters (CFSFL01, CFSFL02, EC0232): CFSFL01 and CFSFL02 allow connection fiber optic connection to Eaton (LonWorks) system network devices , with variant 02 extending the LonWorks system up to 15 km. EC0232 Lon to RS232 converter allows networking with PC-based applications, such as page display and page graphics , LonWorks BMS interface (EC200, EC210L):
Eaton fire control panels connect Networking cannot normally be used with a building management system (BMS) where constraints are required. The EC200 LonWorks BMS interface is an 'add-on' that enables BMS integration. EC210L should be used with Easicheck board , LonWorks Network Address Enhancer (EC540): LonWorks EC540 Network Booster will connect multiple EIA-709 channels together. This unit provides up to five gateways and routes packets between these ports
