The Model PMD-1 Automatic Pressure Maintainer is a pressure regulator that regulates and restricts airflow. It is automatic and field adjustable, used for pressure control in a pre-action system or in a dry controlled Deluge Valve System. It is available pre-assembled with bypass line. This unit is used to supply air through a factory-grade air compressor or nitrogen cylinder. A by-pass valve is provided for rapid filling of the system during initial pressurization, and then the valve is kept closed. This device includes the RFF Norgren Pressure Regulator. Check valve is provided to prevent backflow.
