Details of Gate Valve Monitoring Switch OSY2 UL/FM
The OSY2 UL/FM Gate Valve Monitoring Switch is used to monitor the opening position of external Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) type gate valves. The OSY2 UL/FM Gate Valve Monitoring Switch includes a rugged housing, intended for indoor and outdoor use. When installed with the actuator in the vertical position, the OSY2 is rated NEMA 3R per UL. The OSY2 UL/FM Gate Valve Monitoring Switch features a user-friendly mounting bracket and adjustable shaft to allow mounting on most OS & Y valves, ranging in size 1˝ to 12˝. Its right angle design and wide frame span provide maximum clearance for valve components, to accommodate troublesome valves. Removing the OSY2 gate valve bracket allows the device to monitor side-chassis-type pressure relief valves. Installation is made easier with the OSY2 single-side conduit entrance. By providing a direct path to the power source, no right angle fittings are required. Installation is further simplified by the OSY2 length-adjustable actuator, which eliminates the need for shaft cutting. The OSY2 UL/FM Gate Valve Monitoring Switch is equipped with tamper-proof screws to prevent unauthorized entry. Internally, two sets of SPDT (Form C) synchronized switches are housed in a durable terminal block to ensure reliable performance.
