Model YBN-R / 4 (IS) / SIL is a conventional detector mounting base that has been independently evaluated and approved for use in SIL2 low-demand safety functions related to the rate of random failure rate. It is supplied with square cable clamps for safe and reliable cable termination but the base does not provide line continuity during detector rejection so if Call Points are in use then they should be joined to the zone first.
