Hochiki RED-X EL-24X-AS smart exit alarm light Used for Hochiki fire alarm system 24 m visible exit light based on LED with flexible hinge solution The scene lights operate in two states - displaying an AS2293 "escape" compliant designed to indicate that the exit route is safe to use. This will automatically switch to a red cross screen, indicating that the exit has been compromised and is not safe to use, because of the presence of fire or smoke, for example. The sign's hinged cup holds the electronics and spare batteries and allows the unit to attach to the standard Hochiki EL-TSB mount. The cup also has a two-color status LED that indicates the charge/error status (green for charging, red for error).
