Using a refillable wick, the device acts like a mechanical pencil; where the wick can be inserted the pen, leaving a 10 mm mark which can then be ignited with a lighter or match. The wick's patented design ensures a constant and consistent smoke trail, which simplifies ASD system smoke testing. Once the smoke test is completed, the smoke can be quickly extinguished by replacing the smoke pen cap, leaving the wick ready for reuse at a later date. The smoke pen comes with 6 replacement wicks, and a separate refill pack is available as a spare.
