VK482 : Quick Response Drying Nozzle is a small high sensitivity elemental sprinkler designed for installation on concealed duct systems where the appearance of a smooth ceiling is required. The sprinkler hole design, with a K Factor of 5.6 (80.6 meters), allows the sprinkler to efficiently utilize the water supplies available to the hydraulically designed fire suppression system. The two-piece design of the sprinkler and escutcheon allows the sprinkler to be installed and tested prior to ceiling installation. The Ecutcheon allows for vertical adjustment up to 3/4 (19.5 mm) and can be removed and reinstalled, allowing access to removable ceiling panels without shutting down the sprinkler system. and remove the sprinkler head.

Factory hydrostatically tested to 500 psi (34.5 bar).
