Viking Tyco Nozzles Viking Electroless Nickel (ENT) has been researched for installation in corrosive environments and is listed as corrosion resistant and FM Approved as corrosion resistant for installation in corrosive environments as indicated in the appropriate sprinkler technical data pages. Corrosion-resistant "Electroless Nickel" (ENT) coating is available on a substantial part of the Viking sprinkler head product line. ENT plating provides an enhanced level of protection in certain environments where water spray corrosion is a potential concern, such as industrial washing areas, chemical processing facilities, and manufacturing environments certain locations, as well as installation locations such as garages and balconies, especially in areas near the sea. All Viking Tyco Electroplated Nickel ENT Nozzles have been UL tested and listed as corrosion resistant. Most Viking ENT plating nozzles are also approved by Factory Mutual as corrosion resistant for installation in corrosive environments. The ENT coating is durable and inherently resistant to scratches, chipping and peeling, and is aesthetically pleasing and suitable for decorative applications.
