Description of Viking Helideck Nozzle,360°,180°,90°
Viking Helideck injectors are designed to quickly extinguish flammable liquid fuel fires on heliports. This unique configuration places the nozzle in a specially designed collector box that also serves as a cover for the drain. Installed flush with the floor of the protection area, the Helideck nozzles spread the AFFF foam solution through liquid combustion faster than the oscillating screens due to their location at deck level where the fuel spill occurred. The Helideck nozzle provides a uniform minimum discharge pressure of 40 psi (2.8 bar) and is available with a 360°, 180°, or 90° discharge pattern to meet design requirements. (Larger heliports may require additional nozzles on the perimiter pad.)

• Helideck nozzles spread AFFF foam solution through burning liquid faster than oscillating spray guns because they are located on the deck level where the fuel spill occurred.
• 2 slot groove input for simple installation and disassembly. 350 PSI per mounting surface area, (designed to withstand the load of helicopters parked on Helideck nozzles).
• The Helideck nozzle has no moving parts. The spray pattern is developed its installation site.
• The Helideck injector discharges the foam solution at floor level in the same location where the fuel spill would occur. The position of the Helideck nozzle eliminates the need for expensive oscillating monitors around the perimeter of the helipad.
• Maximum height of spray pattern on the floor is 18
• Holes around the perimeter of the faucet groove allow water to drain.
