The Viking Freedom® Residential Sprinkler is a small, heat-resistant, bulb-type residential sprinkler available in a number of different finishes and temperature ratings to meet requirements. different design requirements. Electroless Nickel PTFE (ENT) coatings have been studied for installation in corrosive environments and are listed as corrosion resistant by C-UL-US-EU as outlined in the Approval Chart. The sprinkler hole design, with a K Factor of 7.4 (107 meters), allows efficient use of available water supplies for the hydraulically designed fire suppression system. The glass bulb operating element and exceptional deflection properties meet the challenges of residential sprinkler standards. Burning conditions, bulb sensitive liquid expands, causes glass to break, releases tube cap and spring assembly. Water flowing through the striking sprinkler deflects the water spray, forming a mono-shaped spray pattern to extinguish or control the fire.
