The Viking VK595 Sprinkler Upright Sprinkler (Viking's Model VK595 Sprinkler Upright Sprinkler) is a 25.2 (363) K-factor sensitive heat-welded joint spray nozzle for a maximum coverage area of 14 ft x 14 ft (196 sq ft) .
The VK595 is the cULus that comes standard as a density/area storage injector with a maximum coverage area of 14 x 14 ft (4.3 x 4.3 m) and is also FM approved as a rapid response, Sprinkler coverage extends to both storage and non-storage applications. The Viking VK595 Expansion Nozzle can reduce installation costs by reducing the total number of nozzles required in a system. In addition, a larger K-factor can provide the necessary flows for higher density requirements at significantly lower operating pressures. The VK595 also allows for greater installation flexibility against obstructions, when compared to ESFR storage nozzles. The sprinkler is cULus Listed for use in trusses or beams with non-combustible web members larger than 1 in (25 mm), provided the standard obstruction rules of four are observed. .
VK595 is available in 165°F (74°C) and 214°F (101°C) temperature ratings.
Maximum working pressure: 175 psi (12 bar).
Factory tested hydrostatically to 500 psi (34.5 bar).
Reading size: Part No. 16859: 1 NPT base Part No. 16885: 25 mm
BSP Nominal K-Factor: 25.2 US (363 meters) K-factor measurement is when pressure is measured in Bar.
