Viking Sprinkler VK506: Quick response, early fire prevention, the VK506 stand-alone sprinkler model offers the ability to suppress specific high challenge fires. The addition of a larger K-Factor enables ESFR performance at lower head pressures compared to the ESFR K14 nozzle. The ESFR K22.4 sprinkler can:
• Eliminates the use of rack nozzles when protecting high pile storage of certain materials up to 40 ft. (12.2 m) with ceilings up to 45 ft. (13.7 m) • Reduce or eliminate the need for system fire pumps.
• Provides flexibility when sizing system piping. The VK506 Independent Sprinkler VK506 ESFR is primarily intended to protect the types of lowered storage, which tend to create severe challenge fires: hard pile and pile storage and Single, Double Open Rack Storage, Multi-row and portable (no open crates or solid shelves). The ESFR Peree VK506 sprinkler protects most common materials in stock, including:
• Packed or unpacked Class I, II, III and IV items.
• cULus Listed for protection of untapped plastic goods and FM Approved to protect unpackaged and unlabelled plastic items.
• FM Approved for the protection of expanded polystyrene and expanded polyurethane products in place. In addition, certain storage arrangements for roll paper, flammable liquids, aerosols and rubber tires can be protected by Viking ESFR P.
