Viking VK2843, VK2883, VK2923 : Quick Response Normal Danger Horizontal Dry Sidewall Fusible Link Sprinklers Viking VK2843, VK2883, VK2923 are heat sensitive nozzles suitable for use in frozen areas. Designed for dry systems and containment systems where it is necessary to prevent water or condensation entering the drop nipple prior to sprinkler operation. They can also be installed in the space supplied the wet system in the adjacent hot area. Large orifice dry sprinklers allow greater flow at lower pressures than standard orifice sprinklers. The new deflector is designed with extended approval for installation 4v to 1212 under ceilings, allowing extra flexibility when installing nozzles near crown moldings or other obstructions. Viking VK2843, VK2883, VK2923 conventional quick response, horizontal groove, dry top are available in different finishes and temperature ratings to meet design requirements. Special coatings of Polyester and Electroless Nickel PTFE (ENT) have been studied for installation in corrosive environments and are listed by cULus as corrosion resistant as outlined in the Approval Chart.
