Detailed description of Viking FP 3 percent C6 Fire Extinguishing Foam
Viking FP 3% C6 Foam is a surfactant-containing flouroprotein foam concentrate powdered in a carefully formulated protein foam liquid base. This ensures the production of a stable liquid foam that will cover the surface of the burning hydrocarbon fuel rapidly. The water-soluble surfactant makes the hydrocarbon repellent foamy and reduces the amount of combustible particles absorbed by the foam in the fire protection of hydrocarbon fuels. Achieving the high stability of the foam blanket ensures against the risk of reigning and provides excellent protection against return burns if inaccessible pockets of fire remain. Use FP 3% C6 at a rate of 3% (3 parts concentration in 97 parts water) in fresh water or seawater.
