Viking AFFF 1%S C6 is an aqueous film forming concen-trate foam (AFFF) consisting of fluorocarbon and hydrocarbon surfactants mixed with other solvents, preservatives and stabilizers. together. The foam forms a film of water that quickly cuts off the oxygen supply and defeats the flame. The expanded foam, which the film is released, forms a stable blanket, superpresses the flammable vapor and cools the fuel surface, extinguishing the fire and preventing the surface domination of the foam solution. allows the membrane aqueous solution, although heavier than the flammable vapor, to float on the surface of the liquid. Viking AFFF 1%S C6 Foam Solution should be used with 1% by volume (1 part concentrate in 99 parts water) in brackish, freshwater or marine waters.
