- Description of Nittan NK-AD-300 . Dial Module
+ Digital Alarm Communicator NK-AD-300 Transmitter/Dialer Module Enables SPERA Nittan Fire Alarm Panel Batch to transmit Alarms, Monitoring and Incident Information on two phones line to a monitoring facility. The NK-AD-300 is powered by the control panel host's freestanding alarm control and communicates with the freestanding alarm control panel via RS-485 data link. The Digital Communicator can be programmed for dual line operation and uses the Security Industry Association (SIA) and Ademco Contact ID Reporting Protocol. The NK-AD-300 can be validated locally via the onboard keyboard and the CFG-300 Validation Tool, or with the UIMA programming tool and a computer with an available serial or USB port. In addition, the NK-AD-300 can be verified remotely using a personal computer with a modem. The NK-AD-300 can be validated for DACT or UDACT operations. In DACT mode, Digital Communicator reports general, trouble and monitoring information. In UDACT mode, Digital Communicator reports point-specific information. In addition, the NK-AD-300 is equipped with the ZDACT feature that allows input circuits on the SPERA board to be grouped software areas for reporting purposes to a central monitoring station.

Programmed to use Ademco Contact ID and SIA-DCS . reporting protocols
Can be configured for DACT or UDACT operation mode
DACT mode transmits general Alarm, Monitoring, Waterflow and Incident information
UDACT mode transmits point-specific alarm, monitoring, water flow and incident information
The ZDACT feature allows input circuits on the SPERA board to be grouped software regions so that the NK-AD-300 will report any individual events as group events
Report circuit number or loop number and address combination when used with the SPERA Series
Event count offset to output circuit number provides the ability for each circuit on the SPERA Series board to have a unique circuit number transmitted to the monitoring station
Override feature allows to change the device type the standard input type on the SPERA Series board to a predefined input type sent to the monitoring station
The NK-AD-300 has the ability to disconnect incoming and outgoing calls and pick up the phone for transmission to the Digital Communication Receiver (DACR)
On-site or remote programming
On-site configuration with onboard keyboard and CFG-300 configuration tool, or using UIMA programming tool and computer with built-in serial or USB port
Remote configuration via Personal computer with modem (Password protected configuration)
Provides phone line monitoring and status reporting via onboard LEDs
Provides event log of 500 entries each to save events local dialer or remote alert panel
Logs can be reviewed locally with the CFG-300
Configuration tool or remote via modem
Continuously monitors the status of each of the two connected phone lines over a period of about one minute
Mounts in a dedicated position in the main frame of the SPERA Series
