Viking Nozzles VK462-VK464: is a concealed, fast-response MRI injector intended for use in an MRI environment, such as an MR system room. This sprinkler has been independently tested for use with the MR 3 Tesla system according to ASTM F2502-15. The results of this test demonstrate that this product is qualified for use in environments with a static magnetic field of 3 Tesla or less and a maximum spatial gradient of 330-Gauss/cm or less.
The Viking nozzle VK462-VK464 comes pre-assembled with a thread adapter with a low-profile cap assembly providing vertical adjustment up to ½ (13 mm). The two-piece design allows the sprinkler to be installed and tested before the visor is installed. The push-up on the platform, on the base of the concealed panel assembly allows the board to be assembled after the system has been tested and the ceiling finish has been applied. The cover assembly can be removed and reinstalled, allowing temporary removal of ceiling panels without taking the sprinkler system out of service or removing the sprinklers.
