Viking Fire Nozzle VK377 : Viking Quick Response Extra large sprinkler, is a high temperature resistant glass ball spray nozzle. Special coatings Polyester and Electroless Nickel PTFE (ENT) can be used decoratively where color is desired. In addition, these coatings have been studied for installation in standard corrosive environments. Extra large holes provide greater flow at lower pressure than standard orifice or large hole sprinklers. This feature allows to reduce pipe sizes for hydraulically calculated sprinkler systems that require high water densities. The quick response of the VK377 fire sprinkler can eliminate the need for a fire pump or reduce the size of the pump if necessary. On existing systems, replacing large bore sprinklers with extra large bore nozzles can provide the higher densities needed to allow for increased hazard classification of occupancy.
