Description of Rapidrop Nozzle RD105 UL/FM
The Model RD105 Commercial Flat Concealed Sprinklers are automatic sprinklers of the compaction type welding. This is decorative and responsive/fast/standard. The frame of the sprinkler conceals the deflector, spacers, etc., which in turn is concealed in the ceiling by assembling the cover plate. The cover plate has a flat profile, and its diameter is extremely small with a diameter of 60cm. The push-pull/threaded, snap-on design of the concealed plate assembly allows for easy mounting of the cover plate. The Model RD105 should therefore be your first choice when aesthetics are the primary consideration for ultimate appeal and outstanding performance is desired. They shall be used in wet pipe sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 13 or as required by the competent authority. Model RD105 has a K factor of 5.6 (80). For extended installation flexibility, Model RD105 offers 3/8 inch (9.0mm) vertical adjustment. This adjustment in the setting reduces the need to precisely cut the pipe falling to the sprinkler and allows for a perfect fit over a wide range of pipe lengths. The Model RD105's heat sensitivity and water distribution design allows for increased occupants' ability to escape or evacuate in the event of a fire. However, a fire sprinkler system is not a substitute for fire safety awareness or building fire safety as required by building codes.
