OSID-R is the latest addition to the OSID open area smoke detection range that uses the latest CMOS imaging technology for quick and trouble-free detection with a lower total cost of ownership, ideal To protect buildings with large open spaces, CMOS Technology allows the detector to find and lock onto a standard reflector, automatically setting the detector's sensitivity, tracking the reflector, resulting in rejection. nuisance alarms due to building movement. The OSID-R detector is a hybrid transmitter/receiver unit that can be connected directly to a conventional FACP or to a smart/addressable FACP using zone modules or IO units.
