Description: DCP-CZM . conventional detector monitoring module

The CZM module is designed for use in FireNet addressable fire alarm systems. Up to 127 addressable devices can be connected per SLC loop. The address of the device is stored in the EEPROM of the main board. This module allows the control panel (panel) to communicate and monitor dry contacts such as conventional 2-wire smoke detectors or emergency switches. Each CZM is addressed through the control cabinet and transmits a signal to the panel, indicating the operating status of a zone (up to 25 devices can be connected per zone). It monitors the source as well as all devices in the zone. The reported states include: normal, open circuit, or alarm. UL approved class 2 smoke detectors are CZM compatible. By means of digital communication (DCP) combined with high reliability and fast transmission speed, CZM is ready to respond effectively in case of emergency. The module has an LED (dual color) to show its operating status.
