- KV-LITE FFFP is based on protein material, which provides good sealing and excellent burn resistance. The limitation of protein foams related to slow propagation is overcome by incorporating fluorinated surfactants in the formulation; Spread is improved without affecting foam stability. KV-LITE FFFP is formulated with hydrolyzed proteins, fluorochemicals, metal salts, special stabilizers and preservatives for best performance and satisfactory storage.
- It is a highly reliable, efficient and cost-effective extinguishing agent, providing fast extinguishing, high resistance to heat and refueling. KV-LITE FFFP is suitable for extinguishing non-polar, flammable solvents.
- KV-LITE FFFP is available as 3% and 6% concentrated foam
- Can be used with fresh water as well as sea water.
- Can be applied with the help of all kinds of nozzles, inductors, foam chambers, etc.
- Recommended for use as stated in NFPA 11, 16.403 & 409.
- An ideal choice for subsurface application because of its very high fuel resistance.
- Used to protect tank farms, oil piers, refineries and offshore oil rigs.
