KV-LITE AFFF is formulated with C6 based Fluorated Surfactants, hydrocarbon surfactants and stabilizers to provide the best performance and long shelf life. Due to the presence of Fluorated surfactants, the foam has a positive coefficient of spread over the fuel surface, providing fast coverage and thereby saving firefighters valuable time.
Application
KV-LITE AFFF is available in 1%, 3% and 6% concentration.
- It can be used with fresh water or sea water. - It is suitable for application with low standard expansion foaming devices such as in-line inductors, various types of foam branches, foam screens and so on.
- It is recommended for spills and large tanks.
- It can be used by rapid intervention tenders to provide improved protection and high assurance against explosion risks for flammable liquids. The high foaming properties combined with the film forming ability make it an ideal choice as a rapid extinguishing agent for fire fighting especially aviation where speed is essential and important.
