Model IFD-E (IS) is an intrinsically safe IR³ flame detector designed for use where open fires can be expected and a response to emitted light can be expected. the flame during combustion. The detector distinguishes between flames and other light sources by responding only to specific optical wavelengths and flame flicker frequencies. This allows the detector to avoid false alarms caused by factors such as flickering sunlight. Ideal for flame detection burning Aviation Fuels (kerosene), Butane, Grains & Feeds, Hydrogen, Paper, Natural Gas, Gasoline (gasoline) etc.
