Working principle of Horing Beam Smoke Detector EDB01
The reflected beam smoke detector is a single component consisting of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter projects a modulated infrared beam to the prism. An alarm condition will be determined when the signal is analyzed to reach smoke hold settings. In addition, the system is designed for wall mounting so that the beam will project approximately 0.3m to 0.6m below and parallel to the ceiling and a maximum lateral range of 7.5m either side of the beam. The distance between detector and prism should be within 100m.
