The ANSUL
® Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Fire Extinguisher System is a system designed to use a distribution network fixed nozzle agent, spool(s) or a combination of both, Systems listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) and the Underwriting Laboratory of Canada (ULC), and approved by the Mutual Factory (FM). The system is designed in accordance with the latest revision of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 12, ‘Carbon Dioxide Extinguishing System. When properly designed, a carbon dioxide system will prevent fires in Class A, B and C hazards by moving oxygenated air that aids combustion.
