HD Fire AFFF 3-C6 & AFFF 3F-C6 Foam Solution, also known as water film-forming foam (AFFF 3-C6 & AFFF 3F-C6) HD AFFF 3-C6 & HD AFFF 3F-C6 are thickeners. Synthetic Aqueous Film Forming, specially formulated with next generation C6 based fluoride surfactants which are safer for the environment. HD Fire AFFF 3-C6 & AFFF 3F-C6 Foam is formulated with C6 based fluoride surfactants, hydrocarbon surfactants and solvents. They form a thin but strong film on the surface of the Hydrocarbon fuel, sealing the surface and preventing the release of fuel vapors. The foam spreads rapidly over the fuel surface due to the active propagation provided by the fluoro surfactants while the foam blanket removes oxygen the fuel surface and provides a cooling effect that leads to quenching. and quickly extinguish the fire.
