Viking AFFF 3%S C6 Foam is a foaming foaming agent (AFFF) consisting of fluorocarbon and hydrocarbon surfactants blended with a variety of solvents, preservatives and stabilizers. The foam forms a film of water that quickly cuts off the oxygen supply and extinguishes the fire. The expanded foam, which the film is released, forms a stable blanket that prevents the release of flammable vapors and cools the fuel surface extinguishing the fire and preventing surface domination of the foam solution. water allows the water film, although heavier than flammable vapor, to float on the surface of the liquid. It is recommended to use Foam Viking AFFF 3%S C6 with 3% solution by volume (3 parts concentrate in 97 parts water) in brackish, freshwater or seawater. It can also be stored as a premixed solution in fresh water.
