FB-1, Hochiki FIREbeam Addressable Beam Smoke Detector
FB-1 (FIREbeam) is a reflective beam smoke detector featuring advanced motorized technology that allows it to align itself to the center of the reflector during operation , Test commissioning is a process semi-automatic in which the device places itself directly in the center of the reflector.
Once authorized, the detective continuously monitors alignment and will automatically align back to the reflector's center if any building movement occurs. The detector comes with a separate control unit that allows engineers to operate, monitor and maintain the ground. The detection range is 40m for the standard unit, increased to 80m or 100m with the addition of a mid-range or long-range reflector. The FB-1 has a built-in loop module that allows full connection to the ESP analog addressable loop.
