The supervised output module (DCP-SOM-R) is designed for Pre-Action Single-Interlock sprinkler systems. During an alarm condition, the DCP-SOMR output will operate which will shut off the solenoid valve, allowing water to fill the sprinkler system piping. Water must not be discharged until a sprinkler is activated due to heat the fire. Pre-Action systems provide an additional level of protection against accidental water discharge and are commonly used in water-sensitive locations such as archives, art archives, rare book libraries. and computer center.
