✅ When mixed with suitable neutralizer, TARGET-7 concentrate can be used for chlorine dioxide, aze, chlorosulfonic acid, sulfur trioxide, liquid ammonia and other fuming acids. This is important when time is of the essence after spills of hazardous acids or other hazardous chemicals.
Once the TARGET-7 agent is applied and forms its coating on the spill, there is no need to apply another neutralizing agent that can break down the foam blanket. Foam blankets act as a source for neutralizing solution, works to prevent transpiration spills and acts as a natural gas/vapour purifier.
The foam concentrate formulation can be mixed with an acid or alkaline stock solution and discharged through an air bubbler to create expanded foam. The stabilized foam slowly releases its solution the walls bubbles and neutralize spills. For acid spills (like CLO2), foam will be created an alkaline water solution.
For alkaline spills (such as NH3), foam will be generated an aqueous solution of acid. TARGET-7 steam neutralizer and reducer is available in a 5-gallon drum, 55-gallon drum, 265-gallon tote, or in bulk.
