- The ASBL Analog low frequency sound base is designed for use with Hochiki analog sets. Each address facility will be connected to the Hochiki America Corporation (SLC) DCP Signal Line. ASBL provides an audible alarm in the vicinity. Typical applications are hotels, apartments and hospitals. ASBL meets the requirement of NFPA 72 at low frequencies in the sleeping area. Studies have shown that low-frequency alarm signals are the most effective at waking people with mild to moderate hearing loss. ASBL is designed for installation in sleeping areas, such as bedrooms, hotel rooms, etc. Operation and monitoring of the ASBLis is fully managed by a compatible fire alarm controller.
