The Viking VK901 Fire Nozzle (Viking QR COIN®) is a fast-responsive, application-specific nozzle for interstitial (concealed) spaces (i.e. between floors, as well as low attic floors that respond to pccc criteria). The Viking VK901 vertical sprinkler head is designed for use in flammable light hazards, as well as non-combustible concealed spaces where sprinkler protection is required.
The Viking QR COIN® Sprinkler's orifice design, with a nominal K-Factor of 4.2 (57 meters), allows efficient use of available water supplies for fire protection systems. The fire is hydraulically designed. The fusible-bonded operating element and special deflector combine operating speed and coverage area to meet the critical fire protection requirement for flammable space concealment spaces.
