Model VSG is a flexible water flow switch for use in wet pipe misting systems where there is a weak flow of fire. It is designed for installation in stainless steel or brass pipes measuring 2 to 4 inches (50mm to 100mm).
The device can also be used as a flow detector on large systems. The unit contains an output relay and an adjustable electronic brake device. The relay is activated when a flow of 3 gallons per minute (11.4 LPM) or more occurs downstream of the unit. The flow condition must exist for the amount of time necessary to overcome the selected delay.
