- This 10amp NAC Booster interfaces with a 12 or 24 VDC Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) to provide expansion support for the Announcer Circuit, for additional horns/cabinets to enable ADA compliance. It also provides auxiliary power to support system accessories.
- It supplies regulated and filtered 24 VDC power to class B or class A NAC loops. In addition, a separate 1A auxiliary output is available for the 4-wire smoke detector.
- The alarm current can be split between eight (8) outputs to power NAC devices. The outputs are rated for up to 2.5A and can be programmed independently for Steady, Momentary Code 3, or Strobe Sync. All outputs can be programmed to Output Tracking Mode (the output will follow the input. ie March time input, March time output). Under independent loop monitoring conditions no alarms for Class A and/or Class B NAC circuits are provided. In the event of a loop failure, the FACP will be notified via the controlled input (Input 1 or Input 2).
