1. Releasing Devices
- Viking fire suppression systems VSH1230 and VSH200 use an electrical release device to activate each cylinder valve, thereby opening the extinguishing agent container to release the extinguishant to the system.
- In order for the valve to open, the release device must have an electrical signal the fire extinguishing system. In Multi Container Systems, an electric release is used only on the master cylinder and each additional cylinder uses a compressed air release device. The pneumatic release device is threaded the valve and equipped with two connections for the pneumatic pilot(s) (or a pilot and the pilot line safety valve) that are attached via the pilot line adapter.

- Viking VSH200 fire suppression system uses agent HFC-227ea, which is a zero ozone depleting substitute for Halon 1301 for use as a gaseous extinguishing agent. It is commonly used in Data Processing, Cleanrooms, Museums and Telecommunications Equipment, protecting expensive equipment or content. Agent HFC-227ea is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic flame retardant with zero ozone depletion, low global warming and a short atmospheric lifetime.
