Detailed description of Viking Foampak Dual System
Viking Dual Foam Fire Pump System: The FoamPak incorporates a UL-listed copper/stainless steel positive-motion foam pump and is capable of dry operation. Balance valves, pressure relief valves, and piping products are all in copper or 316 stainless steel as standard materials. One NEMA 2 listed / FM approved / FM foam pump controller, mounted and wired on the FoamPak, is included. Viking Dual Foam Fire Pump System, is a complete foam pumping system, equipped with supply and discharge piping (not including foam supply line and foam return pipe to the foam tank), connections auxiliary discharge, centralized discharge check valve, pressure maintenance valve, pressure relief valve, centralized supply filter, foam pump and pump controller. Rotary gear pumps are made of copper to withstand the corrosive atmospheres that exist with AFFF and AR-AFFF concentrates. The pump's unique lip-sealing structure allows it to run dry without damaging the pump. Viking FoamPak is to be used wherever a foam system using a positive pressure ratio (Viking ILBP) is desired or necessary. Viking FoamPak can provide one or more foam systems with balanced pressure ratios.
Application for Viking Foampak Dual System
The Viking FoamPak Dual Foam Pump System is a centralized foam dispenser. As an important part of low or high expansion foam systems, including the following applications: hangars, petrochemical facilities, flammable and combustible liquid storage, tank farms, facilities for bulk storage of flammable or combustible liquids, off-shore FPSO and shipboard applications and many military installations. The Viking Dual Foam Fire Pump System can provide concentrated foam to concentrate the spray pipe running above or below the ground.
