The UniPOS-BMS converter is an RS-232 «» RS-485 interface module used to communicate with a variety of third-party Modbus compatible devices (PLC - Programmable Logic Control Unit) for the System. UniPOS IFS7000 interactive fire alarm system. The module is both a physical and logical protocol converter: - At the physical connection level, it converts an RS232 connection to an RS485 connection. Electrically isolated interface improves reliability in noisy environments; - At the Logical protocol level, it converts the UniPOS UniTalk protocol to the BMS Modbus protocol; Modbus map with UniPOS IFS7000 Detector states, FPE states, FAD states available in Modbus Input registers and Basic commands to control the IFS7000 system can be executed through Modbus registers Hold.
