The Unipos VIT60 combination wireless fire detector provides a reliable early warning of a fire condition, responding to a fixed threshold smoke concentration or temperature rise rate or fixed temperature threshold detected in protected base.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Fire detectors provide a reliable early warning of a fire condition, responding to either fixed threshold smoke concentrations or temperature rise rates or fixed temperature thresholds detected in protected facilities. It combines the advantages of type VIT30 and type VIT20 and is an attractive choice due to reduced cost of supply and installation. The temperature class (A1R, A2R) and smoke sensitivity (low, medium or high) are programmed by the fire control panel VIT01 and they conform to European standards EN54-5 and EN54-7.
The principal operation of its thermistor is based on the change in ohmic resistance in the thermistor as a result of the change in ambient temperature.
The principal, of optical chamber operation, is based on the dispersion of infrared rays smoke particles, which are trapped in the optical chamber.
