Tyco unidirectional sprinkler nozzle TY3184 belongs to the special SD2 series of quick-response sprinklers with spray flow K=5.6. They are specifically designed for attic or roof applications such as workshops, providing cost savings by reducing the number of nozzles and branch lines compared to systems using standard nozzles.
- Meet standards: UL, C-UL
- Spray flow: K=5.6 GPM/psi½ (80.6 LPM/bar½)
- Nozzle size: 1/2 inch NPT (DN15).
- Activate the molten metal piece
- Maximum distance between nozzle and hip slope: 3ft (0.9m) Trigger Temperature: 212°F (100°C)
- TY3184 (SD2) is used on one side of the eaves slope and standard AP or model nozzles are used to protect the other side. - The SD2 nozzle must be installed in the vertical upward direction and not tilted with the slope.
- TY3184 nozzle (SD2) used with attic slope, roof 7:12 (58%) to 10:12 (83%). This type of nozzle has a brass finish and is activated by a molten metal pad.
