The TyCo Uk 3550 Injector (TYCO Series RFII-MRI 5.6 K-fac-tor) is a Quick Response (3mm bulb) and standard response (5mm bulb) concealed nozzle, which are nozzles trim has a flat visor designed to conceal the sprinkler. The RFII-MRI sprinkler is designed for use inside the MRI environment, i.e. in the MR system room and close to the scanning unit. However, this nozzle is not intended for use directly inside the MR system, such as in the bore of a scanning unit. In the process of using the TyCo Uk 3550 Sprayer (RFII-MRI Sprin-kler) is mounted on the ceiling with the fixed fireproof piping system of the MR system room. Under the conditions, according to ASTM F2052-15 test, RFII-MRI Sprin-kler has been approved for use in static magnetic field 7-Tesla or less. Standard MRI equipment is usually in the 3 Tesla range. Each sprinkler includes components arranged in sepa order: Cover Plate Assembly / Holder and Sprin-kler / Support Cup Assembly. The two-piece assembly design can provide the following benefits:
• Permits the installation of sprinklers and pressure testing of the fire suppression system prior to installation of suspended ceilings or the application of a finish coat to a permanent ceiling.
• Allows removal of suspended ceiling panels to access building service equipment without having to shut down fire protection systems and remove sprinklers.
• Provides 1/2 in. (12.7 mm) precisely adjusted to allow measurement flexibility in determining the length of the fixed pipe to cut for spray water droplets. The RFII-MRI sprinkler is shipped with a disposable protective cap. The protective cap is temporarily removed during installation and replacement to help protect the sprinkler during installation or ceiling finishing. The Pro-tective Cap's tip can be used to mark the center of a ceiling hole a plasterboard or ceiling tile by gently pushing the bare product the Pro-tective cap. When the ceiling installation is complete, the Protector Cover is removed and the Cover/Retainer assembly is installed. As an option, the RFII-MRI standard reactive TyCo Uk 3550 Injector (5 mm bulb) can be fitted with a silicone dust and air gasket. Air and dust seals are intended for sensitive areas where it is desirable to prevent air and dust the area above the ceiling passing through the visor.
