Concave versions of the 2.8 and 5.6 K coefficients, the TY-FRL Prin Sprin-kler Series, are also used for areas with finished ceilings. It uses a 20 (1/2 in. NPT) concave Ecutcheon. The Recutch Ecutcheon offers 1/4 in (6.4 mm) of recessed adjustment or up to 1/2 in (12.7 mm) total adjustment the independent flush position.
The adjustment provided by Recutch Ecutcheon reduces the precision with which the fixed pipe falling to the sprinklers must be cut. Intermediate versions of the 5.6 and 8.0 K, the TY-FRL Series Sprinkler can be obtained by using the TY -FRL Prink Sprinkler Series in combination with the Model S4 Shield.
