Smoke detectors SLR-24VN can be used in all areas where Photoelectric smoke detectors can be used. The wide sensitivity range makes the SLR-24VN detector can be used for many types of fires such as smoldering or burning fires. The SLR-24H detector is suitable for base types such as NS-4, NS-6, HSC-4R or HSC-R. Compatible and can completely replace old detectors such as Ion smoke detector SIJ-24, optical smoke detector SLR-24V and semiconductor heat detector DCD-135/190.
Mode of Operation : SLR-24VN Hochiki Smoke Detector
The detector series SLR-24VN is integrated with 2 multi-color LEDs to display the status. Under normal operation, the LED will flash green every 3 seconds. When the detector is dirty, the LED will flash red every 3 seconds. And when the detector is in alarm state, the LED will light red. The device consists of a transmitter LED and a receiver LED placed at an angle in a closed-black chamber called the smoke chamber. In the normal state, the receiver LED will not receive any light the emitter LED. In the event of a fire, smoke enters the smoke chamber and deflects light rays the emitter LED, one of which will reach the receiver LED and thanks to the receiver LED will convert to an electrical signal. The electrical signal will be processed and compared with a predetermined level, when 2 signals that exceed the predetermined level are returned within a certain period of time, the circuit will trigger an alarm. The LED will stay on for the duration of the alarm.
